Pañcayojanaraṭṭha

A district in the Dakkhiṇadesa of Sri Lanka, the modern Pasyodunkorala. It is mentioned in various campaigns, and was irrigated and made fertile by Parakkamabāhu I. In it was the Bhīmatittha-vihāra, once the repository of the Tooth Relic. Cv.Ivii.71; lxi.35; lxviii.51; lxxii.57; lxxv.21; lxxxv.81.
