Patta Sutta

1. Patta Vagga.– The third chapter of the Nissaggiya-kaṇḍaṃ of the Vinaya Piṭaka.

2. Patta Vagga.– The third section of the Parivāra-kaṇḍaṃ of the Vinaya Piṭaka.

Patta Sutta.– The Buddha was once giving a discourse to the monks on the five aggregates of attachment, and Māra, wishing to disturb their thoughts, appeared in the shape of a bullock and wandered about among the almsbowls, which had been placed in the sun to dry.
