1. Samudda Sutta.– Two or three drops of water, if taken from the sea, are infinitesimal compared with what is left. S.ii.136 f.
2. Dutiya Samudda Sutta.– In the discipline of the Noble Ones it is sight, sounds, etc., that constitute the ocean. The world is, for the most part, plunged therein. S.iv.157.
3. Paṭhama, Dutiya Mahāsamudda Sutta.– Similar to (1). For the person who has understanding the suffering destroyed is infinitesimal compared to what remains. S.v.463.
