Saṃyojaniya Sutta
1. Saṃyojaniya Sutta.– Monks, I will teach the fetters and the things that fetter. Form is a thing that fetters, desire and lust for forms is a fetter. Feeling … perception … mental formations … consciousness is a thing that fetters, desire and lust for consciousness is a fetter. S.iii.166.
2. Saṃyojaniya Sutta.– Monks, I will teach the fetters and the things that fetter. The eye is a thing that fetters, desire and lust for the eye is a fetter. The ear … the nose … the tongue … the body … the mind is a thing that fetters, desire and lust for the mind is a fetter. S.iv.88.
3. Saṃyojaniyadhamma Sutta.– Monks, there are forms that are pleasing, delightful to the eye, and enticing. This is a thing that fetters. Desire and lust for forms is a fetter. There are sounds that are pleasing and delightful to the ear, and enticing … odours … flavours … touches … ideas that are pleasing and delightful to the mind, and enticing. This is a thing that fetters. Desire and lust for ideas is a fetter. S.iv.106.
