Telakāni Thera

An Arahant. He was a brahmin of Sāvatthi, older than the Buddha. Having become a wandering recluse he went about questioning recluses and brahmins, but not finding satisfaction.

One day he heard the Buddha teach, entered the Order and became an Arahant (Thag.747‑68; ThagA.ii.24 ff).
