Thambāropaka Thera

An Arahant. In the past he set up a flagstaff over the cetiya of Dhammadassī Buddha and, climbing to the top of it, decked it with jasmine flowers. Ninety-four world-cycles ago he became king sixteen times, under the name of Thūpasikha (Ap.i.171).

He is probably identical with Paripuṇṇaka Thera. ThagA.i.190.
