Avidūre Nidāna

The story of Gotama Buddha, from the time of his leaving the Tusita heaven until the attainment of his Enlightenment at the foot of the Bodhi-tree, is called Avidūre Nidāna (J.i.2;47‑77).

The whole of the story agrees word-for-word with the account given in the Madhuratthavilāsiṇī.¹
